Welcome to Meander SA. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your use of the Meander SA website and services, whether you are a service provider or requestor.

1. Definitions

• "Platform" refers to the Meander SA website and any associated services.
• "User" refers to any individual or entity using the platform.
• "Requestor" is a user seeking services from providers.
• "Service Provider" is a user offering services via the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Meander SA. By registering, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding agreements.

3. User Responsibilities

• You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date, and complete information during registration and use of the platform.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must not misuse the platform for unlawful purposes or in violation of these terms.
• You must comply with all applicable South African laws and regulations.

4. Services and Transactions

Meander SA connects users with service providers. We are not party to any service contract between users and providers.

• Service providers are responsible for the delivery, quality, and timeliness of services offered.
• Requestors are responsible for payments and any applicable taxes or fees agreed upon with the provider.
• All transactions and agreements are solely between the requestor and service provider.

5. Verification and Reviews

We may verify service provider profiles for security and trust, but do not guarantee their credentials or qualifications. Users are encouraged to review and rate services truthfully and fairly.

6. Payments and Fees

Meander SA may introduce subscription or commission fees in the future, which will be disclosed with adequate notice before implementation. During our current beta phase, the platform is free to use. All future payments will be processed via secure third-party platforms.

7. Intellectual Property

The Meander SA platform, including its design, functionality, content, and trademarks, is owned by Meander SA and protected by South African and international intellectual property laws. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or inappropriate behavior. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

Meander SA is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from interactions between users, including service failures, disputes, or financial losses. We provide the platform "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Privacy

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.

11. Modifications

We may revise these terms at any time by posting updated terms on our platform. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform will be resolved exclusively in the courts of South Africa. Both parties consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
